Draw Phase

Draw Phase
The Draw Phase is the first Phase of every turn, in which the turn player conducts their normal draw to draw one Card from their Deck.

What you can Activate
Trap Cards, Quick-Play Spell Cards, and Quick Effects may be activated during this phase after the turn player has drawn a card.

Master Rule 3
Since Master Rule 3 (July 10, 2014) the player who goes first does not conduct their normal draw during their Draw Phase, similar to how they cannot conduct their Battle Phase either.
